Some people who have MacPro desktop machines actually need and use the two optical drive bays they come with. so using every bit of my Verizon FIOS 150 connection. when I saved the change, the asus card saw my 5ghz SSID! I connected to and now have a 1.0gps connection speed :) ran speedtest and I maxed out at 155/155. I changed the channel on my 5ghz from the default to channel 161 since nobody in my area was using that channel (I used nirsoft's wifiveiwer). My new Asus card didn't even see the 5ghz SSID.I run it separately. remoted into my router.and ensured 5Ghz was activated and it was. initial connection to my router was at 216.5 connection speed.that is wireless N.

powered up machine, windows did not load drivers for the card, so I ran the setup for the asus driver I downloaded earlier. Installed AC68 adapter in available PCI 2.0 express slot. Uninstalled my old wifi adapter, drivers and utilities (NG A6200).
